Piazza di Portaportese or from Piazza Ippolito Nievo (Viale Trastevere).

Rome's biggest and most famous market.
Everything including antiques, furnitures, animals etc…

Via Sannio - S. Giovanni
Via Sannio. Metro A - S. Giovanni. Buses: 118,87, 16, 15, 81, 13.
10am-1pm, Sat until 6pm. Closed Sun.
Situated under the Aurelian walls, it is very similar to the Porta Portese market but much smaller and lwith ess variety of goods. Mostly sells used and new clothing as well as camping goods.

Piazza Vittorio - Esquilino
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele  Metro a (Vittorio).

This is the most international market in Rome. Situated in a very high density immigration area and also near the Termini train station, makes it accessible to the whole province of Rome: You can find many types of Asian foods not available in other markets in Rome.For these reasons it is also one of the cheapest and best stocked food market around with  excellent fish and regional cheeses.

Small, traditional market specializing in old prints and books.

High quality food market, with stalls for flowers and household items as well.

Covered market with a vast selection and good prices.

Mercato Villaggio Olimpico - Flaminio
Viale della XVII Olimpiade. Buses: 910, 225. 8am-1:30pm, Fri only.
Stalls laden with food, household items, straw goods, jewellery, clothing; captures the flavor of a roving country market, excellent prices included.

Ponte Milvio - Farnesina
Piazzale Ponte Milvio.

Predominantly food, well stocked and well known for its fish.
