The Appia antica is a very quiet and exclusive area that has many secluded and grand villas. The area lies within the
'Appia Antica Park', a regional nature and catacombs park, and for this reason you will find the atmosphere
quite 'rural'.
It is only 15 minutes away by car from City Centrum but it still
feels like being in the country side. There are numerous horse riding clubs, tennis clubs, golfing, swimming pools
and country clubs around. There are also many typical, romantic restaurants popular for wedding banquets here.
The F.A.O., many Embassies and the St. Stevens high school are only
about 10 minutes drive away. A car is necessary to have when living here.
Apartments are rare and average price for unfurnished villas are from about
3500 € to 6000 € .
Appia - Quarto Miglio - Statuario - Capannelle

Very quiet and green area south of Rome between the Castelli
Romani and Centrum. Only 20 minutes drive from the City Centrum.
The first villas and apartments here were built around the beginning of
the 1900's. Most buildings were built during the '70's and '80's.
The area houses nice small apartment buildings as well as semi
and detached houses.
The average apartments are made of 3 or 4 rooms.They almost always
come with outdoor spaces be it simple balconies, terraces or gardens.
There are many swimming-pools, tennis clubs, golf and baseball
clubs as well as big open air and indoor markets and family owned shops in the neighbourhood. Having a car it's advisable.
The properties are of middle to high standard.
An average unfurnished apartment of 2 Bedrooms + Livingroom + Kitchen and
WC could cost from 800 € to 1800.
